Hoje vou mostrar dois trechos de Looking for Alaska, do John Green, que eu recebi hoje através do RAK (vejam o post anterior)! Ainda não comecei a ler direito, mas vou começar hoje, e por isso o post é sobre ele! Haha Lá vai!
Primeiro Trecho
"The week before I left my family in Florida and the rest of my minor life to go to boarding school in Alabama, my mother insisted on throwing me a going-away party. To say that I had low expectations would be to underestimate the matter dramatically."

Uma semana antes de que deixasse minha família na Flórida e o resto de minha vidinha para ir a um internato em Alabama, minha mãe insistiu em organizar uma festa de despedida. Dizer que tinha baixas expectativas seria subestimar o assunto drasticamente.
Segundo Trecho
"We made our way down to the soccer field, and she took me to the edge of the field where the woods start, the same steps I'd walked on my way to being thrown into the lake. Beneath the full moon she cast a shadow, and you could see the curve from her waist to her hips in the shadow, and after a while she stopped and said, 'Dig'"

Caminhamos até o campo de futebol, e ela me levou à fronteira do campo, onde começa a floresta, os mesmos passos que andara antes de ser jogado no lago. À lua cheia via-se sua sombra, e via-se a curva de sua cintura a suas coxas na sombra. D depois de certo, tempo ela parou e disse:
- Cave.
